Cost of sites:
$25.00 per night for up to 2 adults
$150 weekly for up to 2 Adults (pay for 6 and get the 7th Free).
$15.00 per night Additional persons - 17 years of age and over.
$2.50 per night Children 5 years to 16 years of age.
Children under 5 years of age are Free.
Set on 20 acres, Marburg Show Grounds is located 2 minutes off the Warrego Highway, on Queen Street. The showgrounds offer powered sites with water suitable for self-contained Caravans, Motorhomes (no camp kitchen available). Amenities block has toilets & hot showers. A washing machine is available onsite ($5 per load). Tents, swags, roof top camping is not permitted.
Marburg Showgrounds offers a charming country escape, attracting those who are seeking a slower pace stay with its historic pub, specialty shop (The Soul Nook Collective) and antique store (Scotland Yard Antiques). They are only a short distance to the main town which has a small grocery store, post office, hairdresser and coffee shop. In the township of Marburg, you will also have access to a chemist & florist gift shop all within a short drive.
For those that enjoy walking, there is a cement path across from the showgrounds, where you can walk through a bush setting, that circles onto Queen Street and back up to the Showgrounds.
A great place to base yourself and explore the surrounding areas.
Dogs are welcome, but please be responsible. Dogs must remain on a leash and be cleaned up after at all times.
No Dump point is available on site. Closest dump points are at Rosewood Showgrounds, Mill Street, or at Clive Street, Fernvale.
